Rise in tourism decline in agriculture
Since the decomissioning of the trainline from Melbourne there has been less of a reliance for local goods and services. This has seen the decline in the agricultral industry as tourists influx into the area, seeking a weekend away as a second home. This has seen a sudden shift to focus business and industry toward tourists as the local produce struggles to make a name for itself.
